The internationally acclaimed publication has placed AWAKE among important international festivals such as Body & Soul (Ireland), Meadow in the Mountains (Bulgaria), Sacred Ground (Germany), Secret Solstice (Iceland), Mandera (Italy), Parallel (Spain). The nomination revolves around two of the most important things that make AWAKE a unique experience: the amazing location, Teleki Estate, and the eclectic line up.
We are thus continuing our worldwide narrative, after being shortlisted as Best Medium Sized Festival 2018 within the European Festival Awards Gala and selected by Festicket as one of the 20 most intimate festival experiences of 2018. The first two editions have already welcomed audiences from all over the world as AWAKE is the Romanian forefront to the hottest worldwide trend: boutique festivals. Rather than a throw-all festival, AWAKE seeks to be carefully curated and novel, while offering the chill & thrill audiences expect from such whimsical events.
